Bio:

Dr. Brenda Rowe earned a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, and B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of North Texas, where she graduated magna cum laude.  She is a former Assistant Criminal District Attorney for Tarrant County, Texas.  In recognition of her outstanding academic contributions, Dr. Rowe received the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences 2019 Dorothy Bracey/Janice Joseph Minority and Women New Scholar Award.
