Our Mission

Our Mission is to enrich and foster the educational and work experience of Texas A&M University-San Antonio’s international community.  We provide consistent, knowledgeable and up-to-date immigration information that will successfully benefit all non-U.S. citizens, students, faculty and staff seeking that enter the U.S. to receive an education or work at our institution.  We offer immigration advising and guidance on various visa categories and we assist in facilitating a smooth transition to our University and your stay in the U.S., while ensuring we protect the integrity of the institution and comply with state, local, federal and international agency regulations.  The Office of International Affairs is professionally trained to assist you and to ensure your academic experience is rewarding and successful.

Important Dates and Deadlines                                                                            

December 24, 2015 - January 1, 2016

  Winter Break - University will be closed.

January 14, 2016 Drop for Non-Payment.
January 18, 2016 MLK Holiday - No Classes; University will be Closed. 
January 19, 2016 First Day of Classes.
February 3, 2016 Census Date.
February 3, 2016 Students Dropped for Non-Payment will be Assessed a $363 Reinstatement Fee. 
March 14-19, 2016 Spring Break - No Classes.
April 6, 2016 Registration for Maymester, Summer & Fall 2016 Semesters Begin.
May 7, 2016 Last Day of Spring 2016 Classes.
May 9-13, 2016 Final Exams.
