About the WLDCC

The Writing, Language, and Digital Composing Center offers three types of appointments! All appointments can be scheduled online through JagWire. Online Sessions: Work with a tutor in real-time from any location using voice, video, and chat! Appointments are made and accessed through our online scheduling system.

Etutoring Sessions: Upload an assignment draft and your assignment sheet. You will receive written feedback from a tutor. Face-to-Face Sessions: These sessions will be held in person in one of our two locations, Central Academic Building 208 or Classroom Hall 304. Please note your appointment location when scheduling in JagWire.

The Writing, Language, and Digital Composing Center provides support for students across all of the courses. Our writing tutors work with students to develop reading skills, prepare oral presentations, and plan, draft, and revise their written assignments in any course. Our Spanish tutors support students composing in Spanish for any context as well as students completing coursework in our Spanish major. Finally, the Writing, Language, and Digital Composing Center supports students' digital composing practices, whether that be creating a PowerPoint, making a podcast, or working on their digital portfolio. The Writing, Language, and Digital Composing Center can be reached by emailing wldcc@tamusa.edu. Students can also make appointments with the Writing, Language, and Digital Composing under the Student Services tab in JagWire.
