Former students who have had a break in enrollment of more than one year at this university must update their records and submit a readmission application to the Office of Admissions prior to being given permission to register. Those who have taken college work at another institution and who are in good academic standing at that institution must request that official transcripts be sent to the Office of Admissions. Permission to register will be granted if a student is in good standing (a 2.0 overall grade point average) and the readmission application is submitted to the Office of Admissions. If work from former institutions is evaluated after readmission and it is determined that the student's transfer grade point average is below 2.0, the student will be deemed ineligible to continue.
Texas A&M University-San Antonio (TAMU-SA) and Alamo Colleges (AC) have created the TEAMSA program, designed to facilitate degree completion for AC students who have chosen to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at TAMU-SA.
The program streamlines the transfer of credit between the institutions as students complete both an Associate’s degree at an AC campus and a Bachelor’s degree at TAMU-SA.
The program supports both traditional transfer from the community college to the university level as well as offers a co-enrollment option for students.
On hand to sign the agreement formalizing the program were Texas A&M University Chancellor, Dr. Michael D. Kinney, M.D., Alamo Colleges Chancellor, Dr. Bruce H. Leslie, and TAMU-SA President, Dr. Maria Hernandez Ferrier.
Currently or have attended an Alamo College
Cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale

Note: TEAMSA Co-Enrollment Option (Option 2):
Be Advised: Students whose initial application was denied solely on not meeting the 45 hours but do have a minimum of 30 academic hours have the option to do a TEAMSA Agreement Option 2. Please note, if a student participates in the TEAMSA agreement, they will have a hold placed on their account ("TEAMSA-Need Updated Transcript") and will not be able to register for the following semester.
