The Office of Career Services prepares students for real life objectives and expectations regarding careers and employment through the use of innovative research and learning techniques. Career Services provides quality counseling in the areas of choosing a major, job search strategies, pursuing employment and graduate school opportunities. Due to the high demand for services, they are available to currently enrolled A&M-SA students and alumni.
Big Interview is a new online training system that combines training and practice to help improve your interview technique and build confidence. With this tool, you will be able to practice answering those tough questions, share your interviews, and receive helpful tips. Please click on the logo below to register and get started.
-Career Clothes Closet-
The Career Clothes Closet (CCC) is an on-campus program dedicated to providing professional attire to students who are preparing for that all important interview. Only current A&M-SA students may obtain clothing items from the Career Closet. Students are eligible to pick two items per fall and spring semester at NO COST. Chosen items are yours to keep! Interested students are asked to schedule an appointment to visit the Career Closet anytime during office hours. - Appointments and Walk-In Hours -
In order to accommodate student services and guarantee individual time with students, Career Services operates its services through appointments and walk in hours. Appointments generally run an hour in duration. During peak times in the semester Career Services may be full for several weeks. Making an early appointment is strongly recommended.
We also offer walk-in hours Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. Our office is located in the Central Academic Building, Suite 211.
- First-Destination Survey -
The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) requires the Career Services Office to collect data regarding students’ first destinations after graduating. Please assist us in completing this short survey, the questions of which are primarily set by NACE. Doing so will help us serve you and future A&M-SA students better.
