2017 Deadlines for Graduate Students

Below are several deadlines for Graduate Students who plan to graduate in 2017

Not all graduate programs require a Graduate Research Project or Thesis.  If you have questions about the requirements for your degree program, please check with your Academic Advisor.

All materials in electronic form will be submitted to the Office of Graduate Studies and Sponsored Programs at graduate.studies@tamusa.edu.

Hardcopies of material (e.g., GRP Final Packages, or Thesis Final Packages) should be delivered to;
Office of Graduate Studies and Sponsored Programs, Central Academic Building, Suite #435.

Graduate Research Projects (GRP) and Theses

Spring 2017

Summer 2017

Fall 2017

1.)      Full draft (as Microsoft Word file) is due to student’s Research Advisor.

March 24, 2017

 July 14, 2017

October 27, 2017

2.)       Drafts must be returned to students with written feedback from the Research Advisor.

April 7, 2017

July 28, 2017

November 10, 2017

3.)        Final thesis/GRP packages are due to the Office of Graduate Studies and Sponsored Programs

August 4, 2017

December 1, 2017

The Final Draft Package consists of:

a.)    Three paper copies of the GRP or Thesis (each with the required cover page, original signatures on the approval page, abstract page, dedication page, acknowledgement page, table of contents, and vita);
b.)    An electronic copy of the completed GRP or Thesis as a Microsoft Word file or a PDF emailed to graduate.studies@tamusa.edu.  The subject of the email must have the following;  

Students Name, Graduate Research Advisor Name, Month/Year (of graduation)
