2018 Deadlines for Graduate Students

Below are several deadlines for Graduate Students who plan to graduate in 2018-2019

Not all graduate programs require a Graduate Research Project or Thesis.  If you have questions about the requirements for your degree program, please check with your Academic Advisor.

All materials in electronic form will be submitted to Graduate Studies and Office of Research at graduate.studies@tamusa.edu.

Hardcopies of material (e.g., GRP Final Packages, or Thesis Final Packages) should be delivered to;
Graduate Studies and Office of Research, Central Academic Building, Suite #435.

 

Graduate Research Projects (GRP) and Theses

Fall  2018

* 1.)  Full draft (as Microsoft Word file) is due  to student’s Research Advisor.

*  2.)  Drafts must be returned to students with written feedback from the Research Advisor.

** 3.)   Draft of thesis/GRP packages are due to Graduate Studies and Office Research

** 4.)    Final thesis/GRP packages are due to Graduate Studies and Office Research

*These dates will be dependent on professor as these do not deal directly with Graduate Studies and Office of Research.

**Graduate Research Projects and Theses are due the same semester the course is completed. The due date above is set to allow time for the Director of Graduate Studies and Office of Research to review each project in a timely manner. 

Important- The Final Draft Package consists of:

a.)    Three paper copies of the GRP or Thesis (each with the required cover page, original signatures on the approval page, abstract page, dedication page, acknowledgement page, table of contents, and vita);
b.)    An electronic copy of the completed GRP or Thesis as a Microsoft Word file or a PDF emailed to graduate.studies@tamusa.edu.  The subject of the email must have the following;  

Students Name, Graduate Research Advisor Name, Month/Year (of graduation)
