Career

Career Services is dedicated to students and alumni in assisting with choice of academic major to align with career goals, obtaining career‐related work experiences while in school, developing job search skills, and securing employment or admission to graduate or professional school. We are devoted to offering a comprehensive array of programs and services that supports and facilitates career development for all students.

DSS

The Office of Disability Support Services (DSS) is committed to ensuring equal access, full participation and reasonable accommodations by coordinating services that meet the unique educational needs of enrolled students with documented disabilities. DSS provides intake and consultation services to students seeking to apply with our office. We review all documentation to determine eligibility and appropriate accommodations. DSS works collaboratively with students as they actively participate in their academic pursuits.

International Affairs

The Office of International Affairs is ready to assist you with any of your admission, immigration and educational needs. We offer advising, immigration guidance on various visa categories and we assist in facilitating a smooth transition to our University and your stay in the U.S., while ensuring full compliance with all U.S. federal, local and state regulations.

Academic Success Center

The Student Academic Success Center takes a developmental approach to help students complete their academic goals from orientation through graduation.  The Center offers academic and skills workshops, one-on-one appointments, and online resources to help retention efforts at Texas A&M University-San Antonio.  The goal of the Center is to help students discover, self-reflect, and become independent learners.

Student Activities

The Office of Student Activities (OSA) administers Campus Organizations, Competitive groups, Fraternities & Sororities, Leadership Development, New Student Orientation and the Jaguar Ambassadors. We gear up year around to implement ideas and traditions to make your experience as a Jaguar one that is memorable.  We encourage you to seek forms to get involved and see how you can make a change yourself and others.

SCS

The Office of Student Counseling & Wellness Services (SC&WS) provides short-term individual, couples, and group counseling services, consultation, and prevention services that facilitate students’ academic and life goals and enhance their personal growth and well-being.  Our staff, of licensed mental health professionals, can work with you to identify more effective strategies both to cope with difficult situations and achieve goals set with your counselor.

Student Rights & ResponsibilitiesThe main role of the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (OSRR) is to oversee the student conduct and grievance process, uphold the Student Code of Conduct, and be an advocate for students who may have questions regarding community standards. Staff members strive to promote a campus climate of integrity, service, commitment and excellence by focusing on promoting a holistic approach to strudent rights and responsibilities.

Tutoring

Tutoring Services is a free, appointment-based, one-on-one and/or group tutoring program for students in the following subjects: Accounting, Advanced Math, Behavioral Statistics and Finance.  We also offer writing tutoring to students from all disciplines at any stage of the writing process.
