President's Leadership Class Application Process
Summer and Fall 2018 incoming freshmen can apply to be part of the President's Leadership Class (PLC) starting November 1, 2017. Our application is housed within the JagSync portal. The application is looking at three main areas: Academics, Leadership, and Character.
- Academics: High school transcript, ACT or SAT scores, and courses taken while in high school.
- Leadership: Leadership experiences, volunteer work, honor & awards, and work experience.
- Character: Integrity, honesty, and commitment to yourself, the university, and the broader community.
-Application opens via JagSync Portal: November 1, 2017
-Priority Deadline: March 31, 2018
-Interviews: Week of April 16-20, 2018
-First Round Selection Notifications: May 4, 2018
-First Round Student Decision Submitted: May 18, 2018
-Final Deadline: June 1, 2018 (Interviews being held mid-June 2018)
-Final Selection Notifications: July 1, 2018
-Final Student Decision Submitted: July 15, 2018
-JagX: August 13-17, 2018
-PLC Retreat: August 22, 2018
-PLC Reception: September 7, 2018 *subject to change
-Fall Semester Meetings: Friday's from 3pm to 4:30pm
