Jessica Loudermilk

Vice President for Strategic Communications & Chief of Staff

Jessica Loudermilk has nearly 20 years’ experience in public higher education administration. She has been at Texas A&M-San Antonio since 2018, serving as Vice President for Strategic Communications and Chief of Staff. In that role, she oversees a broad portfolio of institutional departments, including University Relations & Events, Strategic Communications, and University Marketing, as well as managing the Office of the President's internal operations, events, and budgets. She serves as a liaison between the President's Cabinet and internal and external stakeholders, manages strategic plan development and reporting, and leads the implementation of cross-campus initiatives.. Before returning to Texas, she served in a variety of key leadership roles at the University of California – Davis. Jessica also holds an M.A. in Linguistics from UC Davis, as well as an M.A. and a B.A. in English Literature from UTSA. She’s currently working on a doctorate in Educational Leadership at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.
