Research Compliance

The Office of Research Compliance promotes a culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies governing research. The office provides comprehensive regulatory guidance to the TAMUSA research community regarding specific components of research compliance — including animal care, biosafety, export control, financial conflict of interest, human subjects, and responsible conduct of research.

OFFICE OF RESEARCH COMPLIANCE

RESEARCH COMPLIANCE CHART

All faculty, staff, and students at TAMUSA are equally responsible for familiarizing themselves, and complying with all applicable regulations and policies. Failure to do so places not only the University but also the individual member of the TAMUSA community at risk for violations which may result in substantial administrative, civil, and criminal fines and penalties, including jeopardizing the University’s ability to apply for and receive federal funding.

Office of Research Compliance provides consultation to all research community members at every stage of research. To schedule a consultation write to researchcompliance@tamusa.edu
