Guest Wireless Networks
How to Access Guest Wireless Networks
Every day, Texas A&M-San Antonio hosts many visitors and guests who need wireless internet access. They include:
-
- Alumni
- Prospective students and their families
- Visiting scholars
- Other campus guests
These guides will help you get connected.
You can use the university's wireless network to access the Internet while on-campus. These networks are intended for visitors who need basic internet access only — not visitors who need access to special applications. As a reminder, TAMU-SA-Guest access is intended for guest wireless internet access only. Texas A&M-San Antonio students, faculty, and staff, must use the secure TAMU-SA networks intended for them.
The visitor network sessions are limited to 24 hours. Services while connected are limited to general internet activity such as email, web browsing, and other general internet access. While on this network, you will be separate from our regular campus networks— meaning firewalls on campus may give you less access than if you use the secured TAMU-SA-Staff or TAMU-SA-Student wireless networks.
The following are directions and support when accessing our new Guest Wireless Networks. These networks were launched June, 2016.
