In November 2020, following a competitive selection process, Texas A&M University-San Antonio was selected as a participant in the Department of Education’s new Federal Work-Study Experiment.

The experiment intends to expand opportunities for students to “earn and learn” while in school and to increase chances for students to gain valuable workplace skills and experience with off-campus employment.

A&M-SA received additional federal work-study funds to create the Career READY (Relevant Experience, Academics, Development, and You) program!

A&M-SA students, who are Federal Work-Study eligible and participating in an unpaid internship or clinical teaching experience, can apply these financial aid funds toward that off-campus experience.
Applications are on Handshake. View this informative video about how to apply: http://bit.ly/CareerREADYApply.
