The Student Rights and Responsibilities team consists of professional staff members and student workers who are committed to assisting students in making the most of their University experience. Through a variety of programs and services, this team works collaboratively with various campus partners to provide the Jaguar community opportunities for education and personal growth.

Shahla Nadem-Mollaei

Shahla Nadem-Mollaei is the Assistant Director of the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities. She joined the Texas A&M-San Antonio staff in April 2015. 

Shahla's past experience in higher education includes being a Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for the Islander- Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team (I-ADAPT). Through this position, she assisted in the development of peer educator program, compliance in the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Programming (DAAPP) and Biennial Review, and compliance of university mandated AlcoholEDU course. Shahla also held internships in University Housing, Student Conduct, and Operation and Safety Compliance.

Micayla Bean

Micayla Bean is a Student Conduct Officer and joined the Texas A&M-San Antonio staff in January 2019. Micayla's programming focuses are Hazing Prevention, Organizational Misconduct, and Academic Integrity.

Yanellie Chapa

Yanellie Chapa is the Student Worker for the Alcohol and Other Drugs Committee.

The Student Worker for the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Prevention Committee is tasked with assisting in the education of the effects of alcohol and other drugs to the campus community through information tables, active programs such as Jaguar First Friday and Health and Wellness Fair, and is the student representative for the AOD Committee. Gemma Cruz Cantero is the Student Worker for the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities.

The Student Worker for the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities is tasked with assisting in the education of the Student Code of Conduct and conduct procedures to the campus community through information tables, active programs, and the creation and distribution of marketing materials.
