Director of Access
Briana Hagelgans' Email
Briana currently serves as the Director of Access with A&M-SA overseeing dual credit and early college high school partnerships, the Greater Texas Foundation Program and the development of transfer agreement partnerships throughout the state of Texas. Before her role at A&M-SA, Briana worked in high school programs, ensuring that high school students had access to, and persisted in college coursework while enrolled in high school. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Management and her Master’s of Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Practice.

Marisol Lopez's Email
Marisol earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UTSA and has worked in higher education for approximately two years. She began working at TAMUSA in 2017, as the Scholarship & Grant Coordinator in the office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships. Marisol currently serves as the Coordinator of Access directly overseeing the Greater Texas Foundation Scholar Program.
Student Success Coach
Katheryn Zepeda's Email
Kathryn has a back ground in Emergency Health Science. She spent 10 years as a firefighter/Paramedic with the City of Seguin, where she was the assistant chief for two of those years. Kathryn moved to San Antonio College as the EMS Degree Program Coordinator, where she worked for 7 years. After being transferred to West Texas, she became a high school teacher, teaching science courses and specializing in Health Science Technologies. In 2016, Kathryn began working as an Academic Coach at TAMUSA, a job that she absolutely loves.
Larry Ynman's Email
Larry has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from UTSA and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University and has worked in higher education for approximately 16 years. His professional experience includes academic advising/counseling, admissions, student affairs, and student success and he also volunteers with Meals On Wheels, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Elf Louise, and Haven For Hope. Larry’s professional philosophy is to build positive and professional relationships with students to collaboratively create individualized pathways and support students in their personal and academic success.
