Proctored Exam Service 

Texas A&M University-San Antonio Testing Center proctors paper-based and computer-based exams for students taking A&M-SA courses, for students taking courses at other institutions, and for community members.  The Testing Center offers flexible scheduling options, including evening and weekend testing hours.  Examinees are offered a secure, quiet, and welcoming testing environment to complete their proctored exams.

Test Day Information

Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes early.  Examinees that do not arrive early will be turned away.  If you are not familiar with the Texas A&M-San Antonio campus, please click here for map and parking information. 

You will need to present a valid photo ID, such as a valid driver's license, passport, state or country issued ID, student ID, etc.  If you have questions about your ID, contact the Testing Center well in advance of your scheduled exam.

For security reasons, you will be asked to place ALL personal items (including coats, jackets, large hoodies, electronic devices, papers, books, etc.) in a locker and you will not be able to access them during testing.  If you have a large bag, backpack, computer, etc., we encourage you to secure them in your vehicle or leave them at home.

The Testing Center does not allow examinees to download software to our computers or bring outside computers or electronics of any kind into the testing rooms.  If the exam requires specialized software, please contact the Testing Center prior to your scheduled exam.   

Exams must be completed in one sitting, examinees are only allowed to leave the testing room if there is prior authorization; such as a scheduled break.
