Each of A&M-SA’s dual credit transfer guides is aligned with a degree program offered by our university. There are five options to select from for each degree: 12 hour, 15 hour, 30 hour, 42 hour and 60 hour pathways. Feel free to work alongside your high school counselor to choose the pathway that best meets your needs. 12 Hour Dual Credit Guide
This transfer guide is meant for dual credit students interested in pursuing a major at Texas A&M University-San Antonio after high school graduation. Please use this guide to help choose dual credit courses that may be offered at your high school. This is a guide and does not constitute an official degree plan.
120 hours required for degree: 36 advanced credit hours must be completed at A&M-SA to satisfy the residency requirement and highlighted courses can be taken in the dual credit program
Technical/Vocational credits must be completed at the community college, prior to transferring to A&M-SA

A minimum average GPA of 2.25 must be maintained in all CISA & CSCI core and elective courses to remain in program. Applies to transfer courses also.
Academic courses can not be counted towards technical/vocational credits.
Technical/vocational credits from non-approved colleges require Dept. Chair and Dean approval. Academic or technical/vocational credits transferred as substitution courses must be completed within the previous five years of admission to A&M-SA.
