Dual Credit Program

Dual Credit Program

Dual Credit gives eligible high school students the opportunity to earn high school and college credit at the same time. Through partnerships with local high schools, students can begin their college journey early while working toward high school graduation.

Getting Started

Students interested in participating in Dual Credit should begin by contacting their high school counselor or Dual Credit representative. Your high school will guide you through the application, eligibility, testing, required forms, and registration process. Because requirements and deadlines may vary by campus, students should follow the instructions provided by their high school throughout the Dual Credit process.

Our Dual Credit Partners

Texas A&M University-San Antonio partners with local school districts and high schools to provide Dual Credit opportunities to eligible students.

Students interested in participating in Dual Credit should contact their high school counselor to learn more about available courses and eligibility requirements.

Homeschool

Homeschool students may also be eligible to participate in Dual Credit through Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Because the enrollment process for homeschool students differs from our high school partnerships, families should contact Early College & Academic Partnerships for information about eligibility, required agreements, and next steps.

Looking for Early College High School?

Early College High School provides students the opportunity to earn significant college credit while completing high school through one of A&M-San Antonio's designated ECHS partnerships.
