Academic Learning Center

The Academic Learning Center offers free, appointment-based tutoring to
Texas A&M University-San Antonio students.

The Learning Center is made up of subject-area tutoring for Math and Sciences (including Statistics for most majors).  Please call us at 210-784-1332 to see if the ALC offers tutoring for your course.

How to Make an Appointment

Appointments can be made by:


  • Logging in to JagWire and select EAB - Student Success Collaborative under the Student Services tab.  Click here for directions.
  • If you have issues scheduling an appointment through EAB-Student Success Collaborative, please give us a call at 210-784-1332.

Priority is granted to those students who have set up an appointment ahead of time: walk-in sessions are available depending on tutor availability.  Students are limited to one hour of tutoring per day, three days per week.


Semester Hours

Since Learning Guides are also students, their hours change on a semester by semester basis.  Because of this, our hours vary by semester.  Please come visit us in Modular C, Room 140 to learn more about our subject specific hours, or feel free to contact us at 210-784-1332.
