We offer free, appointment-based tutoring to Texas A&M University-San Antonio students.

The Learning Center is made up of subject-area tutoring for Math and Sciences (including Statistics for most majors).  Please call us at 210-784-1332 to see if the ALC offers tutoring for your course.

Important Information 


Tutoring appointments are still scheduled through EAB.  For safety, all Tutoring appointments have been moved online.  Please watch your student email for a link that will be sent from "Jaguar Tutoring".  Follow the link to access your appointment space with your tutor.  If you encounter issues, please immediately email and we will help you resolve the issue. 

Supplemental Instruction

For safety, all SI sessions and office hours have been moved to an online space.  Please watch Blackboard for announcements from both your instructor and your SI Leader regarding how to access and participate in online classes and sessions.  If you encounter issues while trying to access your new session space, please email immediately and we will help you resolve the issue.

How to Make an Appointment

Please feel free to contact us to schedule an appointment or if you have any issues accessing your online appointment. 

  1. Log in to your Jagwire.  Go to the "student" tab on the left hand side.  Then, look for the "Student Services" section and select EAB - Student Success Collaborative.

  2. Make sure you select that you want Tutoring.  From there, you will need to select the course, time and tutor you would like to work with.  

  3. On the day of your appointment: you will receive an email from Jaguar Tutor as a reminder of your appointment.  In the email, look for a link that is similar to this:

  4. You will have to highlight the link, copy, then paste the link into your URL and hit Enter.  Please Note: Safari, Google Chrome or Firefox are the best browsers to use for GoBoard.

  5. From there, make sure to select "Student" enter your first name, last name, and your student email.

  6. If you encounter any issues, don't hesitate to contact the center at 210-784-1332.

Please note that students are only allowed one, one hour appointment on three separate days/week.

Since Learning Guides are also students, their hours change on a semester by semester basis.  Because of this, our hours vary by semester.  Please call feel free to call us for any questions during our hours of operation (Summer 2020):

Monday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Tuesday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Wednesday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Thursday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
