The ALC offers free, appointment-based tutoring for Math and Sciences (including Statistics for most majors) to Texas A&M University-San Antonio students.  We also provide Supplemental Instruction for several predetermined courses.  See the bottom of the page for our courses tutored and check out the SI Instagram page to see what courses have leaders in them!

Important Information

Tutoring is Online ONLY for the Spring 2021 Semester

Tutoring appointments are still scheduled through EAB.  For safety, all Tutoring appointments have been moved online.  Please watch your student email for a link that will be sent from "Jaguar Tutoring". 

Follow the link (you will have to highlight the link and paste it into your into your address bar) to access your appointment space with your tutor.  If you encounter issues, please immediately email tutoring@tamusa.edu and we will help you resolve the issue. 

 

Supplemental Instruction is Online ONLY for the Spring 2021 Semester

For safety, all SI sessions and office hours have been moved to an online space.  Please watch Blackboard for announcements from both your instructor and your SI Leader regarding how to access and participate in online classes and sessions.  If you encounter issues while trying to access your new session space, please email tutoring@tamusa.edu immediately and we will help you resolve the issue.


How to Make a Tutoring Appointment

On the day of your appointment: you will receive an email from Jaguar Tutor as a reminder of your appointment.  In the email, look for a link that is similar to this:

 https://tamusa.goboard.com/000XxX.

You will have to highlight the link, copy, then paste the link into your URL and hit Enter.  Please Note: Safari, Google Chrome or Firefox are the best browsers to use for GoBoard.  From there, make sure to select "Student" enter your first name, last name, and your student email.

Students are only allowed one, one hour appointment on three separate days/week and will need the reschedule if they are more than ten minutes late to their appointment.  For more appointment FAQ's, click here and scroll to the bottom.
