  • Summer 2020 Application Deadline: May 27
  • Fall 2020 Application Deadline (Freshmen): June 30
  • Fall 2020 Application Deadline (Transfers): July 15


  • Submit your SAT or ACT scores (Freshmen only)
  • Send us your official transcripts (All students)

  • Visit the FAFSA/TAFSA webpage (if applicable)
  • A&M-San Antonio's FAFSA school code is 042485.
  • FAFSA processing generally takes about 3-4 weeks. If you are selected for verification, you will need to submit additional documentation and the process will take longer.
  • Once your FAFSA has been processed, your financial aid awards will post to your student account. You may need to accept your financial aid award(s) in JagWire.
  • Have additional questions about Military-Affiliated student benefits including financial aid questions? Visit www.tamusa.edu/militaryaffairs.

  • You must have a reading and writing score on file that meets the college readiness standards in order to sign-up for New Student Orientation (NSO).
  • You may complete NSO if you do not have a Math score on File, however, you will need to have a Math score on file in order to continue to Step 6: Attend an Online Advising and Registration Session.

  • Complete Now, Pay Later: The $75 New Student Orientation (NSO) fee is no longer required to be paid in advance of completing NSO. The fee will be added to the student account and may be paid with Financial Aid if Title IV funds are authorized to pay this.

  • Transfer students are not required to have an advising session, but it is encouraged.
  • Freshmen students will be able to sign-up for a virtual advising session once completing NSO. You must have a Math TSI score on file in order to attend an Online Advising and Registration Session.
  • Transient, readmitted, and post-baccalaureate students must meet with an advisor prior to registering for classes.

  • Transfer students will be able to register for classes as soon as they complete NSO. Advising is not required.
  • Freshmen students will register for classes during their Online Advising and Registration Session.


  • The Fall 2020 payment deadline is August 3.
  • You must pay in full or sign-up for a payment plan to avoid being dropped from your classes.
  • If you’ve already accepted your financial aid awards, you will be safe from the first drop since your funds won’t be disbursed until August 10.


  • Freshmen will attend JagX, a pre-college program before the Fall semester begins (required).

  • Transfers are invited to the Transfer Assembly (optional.)
