The Office of Military Affairs (OMA) assists military-connected students at Texas A&M University-San Antonio so they can succeed professionally by embracing their strengths.

VA Federal Benefits

VA education benefits help Veterans, service members, and their dependents with paying college tuition.

Montgomery GI Bill Ch.30, VR&E Ch.31, Post 9/11 GI Bill Ch.33, DEA Ch.35 and Reservists 1606



The Hazlewood Act is a State of Texas benefit that provides qualified Veterans and their dependents up to 150 hours of tuition exemption

This does NOT include living expenses, books, or supply fees.


Tuition Assistance

Eligible service members can receive TA at a rate of $250 per semester credit hour with an annual maximum amount of $4000 each fiscal year (October 1 to September 30).
