About the Bachelor of Science in Public Health Program

Public health is not just a major - it is a mission. Become a professional who works at the community level to prevent illness, promote wellbeing, and protect people's health during crises. Through classroom and hands-on experiences, the program prepares students to deliver innovative, culturally responsive, and evidence-based interventions that improve community health and wellbeing. Public health at TAMUSA is a small, tight-knit program where you will form meaningful ties with peers and professors who know your name and care about your future.

In collaboration with A&M College Station, the TAMUSA public health program administers a 3+2 program that allows students to earn a B.S. and M.P.H. in only 5 years, saving students money and accelerating their careers.
