The Office of Institutional Research serves the Texas A&M University-San Antonio community by fulfilling many of the university’s obligations with respect to reporting to external constituencies, as well as providing data and information to advance the university’s mission and support administrative decision-making. As such, it has adopted the following objectives:

• Submit state and federally mandated reports;
• Collect, analyze, and disseminate data to inform decision making and enhance communication with internal and external constituencies;
• Provide assistance to other departments in developing data collection plans and tools.

The Office of Institutional Research conducts the following standard reporting:

TAMU-SA Fact Sheet - Snapshot data published each spring
Texas Legislative Budget Board - Accountability measures reported annually
Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board - Accountability measures reported annually
