Hours of Operation 

Monday-Thursday 7 am - 10 Pm

Friday 7 am - 8 pm 

Saturday 1 pm - 5 pm 

Sunday 3 pm - 7 pm 

Rec Center Guidelines 

Gym - 

  1. No Dunking or hanging on the rim while playing on the goals
  2. The gym may be unavailable during scheduled intramural sports events, sports club activities, athletic events, and special events. 
  3. To request balls, etc., Please Visit our Front Desk to check equipment in and out. 
  4. Tape and similar markings may not be applied to any wood flooring
  5. Clothing must be worn at all times during court usage. (No Sports Bras or shirts off on any patrons.)
  6. No boots, Crocs, slides, heels, or any open-toed shoes while playing on the gym floor. 
  7. No food or drinks on the gym floor.

Fitness Center - 

  1. Ask staff to demonstrate how to operate the equipment properly if you are unsure about its use. 
  2. No outside food in the fitness center
  3. All drinks must be in a closed container
  4. Proper gym attire must be worn at all times. (No jeans, crocs, slides, open-toed shoes, or sports bras.) 
  5. Do not bring your gym bag or other personal belongings onto the fitness floor. 
  6. Re-rack weights and return all other equipment and accessories to their proper locations. 
  7. Wipe down all equipment after use. 
  8. Refrain from yelling, using profanity, banging weights, and making loud sounds. 
  9. Make sure to get a towel from the facilities assistant during workout usage.

Recreational Sports membership is more than just the rec center; it includes access to the game room, Intramural leagues, and our JagFit programs at discounted rates.

Game Room & Lounge

If you are looking for some down time come join us at our Game Room & Lounge at CAB 105. 

You can enjoy a wide variety recreation activities such as

  • Pool 
  • Table Tennis
  • Board Games 
  • Video games 
  • Relaxing place for Homework.

Outdoor Spaces

Rec Sports Outdoor space include a Sand Volleyball Court. This area is utilized for Intramurals, University events, and by sports clubs.

Hours of Operation

A: Reminder for Operation hours.

Who can use the facility?

A: The facility is open to students, faculty, and staff with a valid membership access through tuition/fees.

How do Faculty and staff purchases membership?

A: Faculty and staff may purchase memberships at the front desk or through the website (Member & Reservations.) Payroll deduction is available - please ask student staff for the payroll deduction form.

What equipment is available?

A: Our gym and weight room include cardio machines, free weights, strength machines, and spaces for stretching and functional workouts. 

Do you have lockers and showers?

A: Yes, day-use lockers and shower facilities are available. Please bring your own lock. Lockers are available for purchase on a yearly or semester basis. Ask the student worker in the facility for more information. 

What should I do if there's an injury or emergency?

A: Notify a staff member right away. Our staff is trained in CPR, AED, and first aid.

What is the dress code for the facility?

A: For Safety and hygiene reasons, the following apply:

  • Shoes: Closed-toe athletic shoes are required at all times. No Crocs, Birkenstocks, slides, sandals, or open-toe shoes are allowed. 
  • Shirts & Tops: Sports bras alone are not permitted. Your torso must be fully covered. 
  • Pants/Shorts: Athletic shorts, leggings, or sweatpants are allowed. No Jeans permitted.
  • General: Clothing must be appropriate for athletic activity and maintain proper coverage.
