Message from the Dean's Office

Welcome! These are exciting times in the College of Arts and Sciences. We continue to grow, adding new degrees and co-curricular programs that enhance student experiences in the classroom and beyond.

Our faculty empower learners through innovative teaching, research, and creative work. Rooted in San Antonio’s Southside and globally connected, we engage students in the community and prepare them for fulfilling careers.

We believe that educated people are the basis of a just, free, and prosperous society—by focusing on the big questions facing all of humanity, we can build this future together.
