POC and faculty members attended the 2026 CAE in Cybersecurity Community Symposium, Pittsburgh, PA, April 28-20.
- Dr. Jeong Yang represented the A&M-SA's NCAE-CD as POC.
- Dr. Young Lee gave a workshop presentation on research entitled "An interactive visualization platform for training cybersecurity analysts to detect subtle concurrency bugs in Rust."
- Dr. Md Tamjid Hossain gave a poster presentation on research entitled "From Mass Extraction To Ethical Triage: Multi agent AI For Privacy-preserving Computer Forensics."

Nine VICEROY Scholars attended the 2026 VICEROY Symposium, William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA, April 14-16, accompanied by Dr. Jeong Yang representing A&M-SA. The experience provided students with valuable professional connections, increased awareness of opportunities within the VICEROY network, and renewed motivation to pursue their career goals. Computer Science student, Adrian Cisneros, earned 2nd place in the student research poster competition for his project titled "Cognitive Resilience at the Edge: Hyperdimensional Computing vs. Deep Learning for Hardware-Degraded RF Classification."
