About the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Program
The Political Science program offers a dynamic, student-centered learning experience that combines rigorous academic training with hands-on application. Students benefit from small class sizes and close interaction with faculty who are committed to mentoring and active learning. The program emphasizes experiential learning through opportunities in undergraduate research and internships as well as participation in Mock Trial, Model United Nations, and Study Abroad. Students can further specialize their studies through the Peace and Conflict Studies minor, which explores the causes of conflict and the processes of peacebuilding, or the Legal Studies minor, which prepares students for careers in law and legal advocacy. Engaging students with real-world political issues to develop critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills, the program provides a comprehensive and flexible curriculum that prepares students for a wide range of career paths.
