About the Master of Arts in Counseling & Guidance: School Counseling Program
The Master of Arts in Counseling & Guidance program is designed to develop professional school counselors who are ethical problem-solvers, aware of roles, policy, technology, and legalities relevant to the school counseling field.
This program satisfies 60-hour Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) academic requirements and requirements for certification as a Texas Professional School Counselor.

- 2.75 cumulative GPA (or 3.0 last 60 CH)
The Department has the right to examine students' prerequisites, accept equivalent hours, or require additional work.
