Can I make an appointment to come and visit?

Our students are in inclusive classes and have various schedules, therefore we cannot
accommodate individual appointments or tours. We really encourage people who are interested
in coming to visit Transition University: TU CASA to sign up for a university tour to see our beautiful campus.

How long does a student stay enrolled in Transition University: TU CASA?

Students can be enrolled in the Transition University: TU CASA program for up to 18 months as long as they continue
to meet eligibility requirements.

When will applications be posted and when will they be due?

The Transition University: TU CASA application is currently open to be considered for the Spring 2026 waitlist.

Transition University: TU CASA Admissions Information

Can my son/daughter receive financial aid?

Transition University: TU CASA is recognized as a Comprehensive Transition Program (CTP) by the U.S. Department
of Education. This means that students in Transition University: TU CASA may qualify for:
  1. Federal Pell Grants
  2. Federal Work-Study

Students and their families can apply for federal aid by completing the FAFSA application.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Are the courses that Transition University: TU CASA students take transferable to another institution?

The courses taken are audited and are not transferable.

Are students required to live on campus?

Living on campus is optional for the Transition University: TU CASA program.

postsecondary programs that are available.

What do students receive when they graduate?

Students who complete all the requirements of the Transition University: TU CASA program will graduate with a
University and Career Experience Certificate (UCEC). Students will also earn micro-credentials
focusing on key domains of the program.

Are students required to have VR Services?

We encourage all students to sign up for VR services. In some cases, Vocational Rehabilitation
Services may include tuition assistance that leads to a career.
