"The Superintendent program at Texas A&M University-San Antonio provided activities that were rigorous, relevant, and deeply rooted in Texas education law, policy, and leadership theory.  By the time I sat for the superintendent certification exam, I felt genuinely prepared and confident in my ability to apply it. The program's targeted test preparation resources and faculty guidance made what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable and strategic. I'm proud to say that I secured a superintendent position, and I credit a significant part of that success to the foundation Texas A&M San Antonio gave me. This program doesn't just prepare you to pass a test — it prepares you to lead."

“The superintendent certification program at Texas A&M San Antonio provided the most realistic opportunities for an individual looking to move into a district leadership role. Dr. Juan Jasso incorporated visits to local construction sites at various phases, hands-on activities, networking opportunities, and classroom theory easily applicable to an initial role as a school superintendent. Having completed the coursework in 2017, and in my second year as a school superintendent, I would highly recommend the program provided by Texas A&M San Antonio as a means of preparation.”

"Texas A&M San Antonio's Superintendent Certification Program provides an outstanding learning experience led by highly knowledgeable instructors and engaging guest speakers who bring real-world leadership perspectives to every session. For me, the program created valuable networking opportunities with aspiring educational leaders from across the region. The practical experiences and authentic discussions go far beyond theory, helping participants understand the realities of district leadership. While the program thoroughly prepares candidates for the certification exam, its greatest strength is preparing future superintendents for the job itself."
