Building a Destination Campus

Building a Destination Campus

Goal 6: Establish A&M-San Antonio as a university of choice in Texas

A&M-San Antonio is on the rise, powered by the strength of our community, the ambition of our students and the excellence of our academics. Becoming a university of choice means building a campus that reflects our big dreams and bold ambitions. We are a university where students want to be—and we are All In for shaping a Jaguar experience that is vibrant, welcoming, and unmistakably A&M–San Antonio.

Our Objectives

Our objectives provide a roadmap for how we will transform our campus into a first-choice institution. We will elevate the Jaguar experience, drawing students and the community in, igniting pride, and strengthening our reputation across Texas. We’re going to put A&M-San Antonio on the map as a place people talk about, and when they come to campus, the reality will live up to every expectation they have.

Develop facilities and spaces that enhance the student experience and support residential life

Enhance and expand intercollegiate athletics programs

Strengthen A&M-San Antonio’s brand identity and reputation

We don’t just dream big at A&M-San Antonio; we build for the future. Our goal is to become the ultimate destination campus. We want to be a household name —a name synonymous with a top-tier education and a vibrant collegiate life. We are all in for turning this vision into our new reality.
