Charge

The charge of this committee is to review the Parking Rules and Regulations for Texas A&M University- San Antonio. A major responsibility of this committee is to develop recommendations for revisions in the parking regulation as necessary to ensure an efficient and safe parking and transportation services. Considerations may include permit and enforcement fees, parking zones, bicycle and motorcycle traffic, and pedestrian paths. A separate group of representatives comprise a subcommittee, the Parking Appeals Panel. The advisory committee meets monthly during the fall and spring semesters, or more often as needed.  The appeals panel shall meet monthly, including the summer, or more often as needed to hear appeals for parking violations. The Committee will be appointed by the President and be responsible to the Vice President for Business Affairs.
