The Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Service Academy (CSA) aims to develop and strengthen the nation's cybersecurity workforce by providing comprehensive scholarships for students pursuing degrees in cyber-related fields at Texas A&M University- San Antonio. You fill out an application for the Department of Defense to review and select from a pool. This scholarship offers:
- Full tuition and mandatory fees
- Coverage for required textbooks
- A laptop for first-year recipients
- Guaranteed paid summer scholarships
- One cybersecurity conference a year, such as a Defcon, etc.
- Civilian job with the DoD after graduation
Annual Stipends:
- Undergraduate Students: $29,000
- Graduate Students: $34,000
Eligibility Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Rising junior, senior, or graduate student in a cyber-related program
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 (Undergraduate) or 3.5 (Graduate)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Willingness to work for the DoD for each year of scholarship support
