Texas A&M University-San Antonio launched it's intercollegiate athletics program in Fall 2020. This site provides a comprehensive resource for updates and information. A&M-San Antonio’s program will build upon the tradition and spirit of A&M intercollegiate athletics, enhancing the campus and student life experience. Athletics will influence the foundation for intergenerational traditions and cultivating a sense of community. The introduction of intercollegiate athletics is a first for South Bexar County.

The university is now officially members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and Red River Athletics Conference (RRAC).

An intercollegiate athletics implementation (ICAI) task force was convened in late August to guide the university’s implementation.

Recruitment

Thank you for your interest in Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Texas A&M University-San Antonio is competing in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) and are a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Select the sport in which you are interested; fill out the form; and the respective coach will contact you once hired. We anticipate head coaches will be hired by mid to late February.
