APPOINTMENT BASED TUTORING
With Appointment-Based Tutoring, students are guaranteed a dedicated time slot to collaborate with our expert tutors. Our subjects include Math, Statistics, Science, and Computer Science. Choose between personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions or engaging group tutoring sessions. With up to 3 available appointments per week, each lasting between 30 minutes to 1 hour, mastering your studies has never been easier. Don't miss out click here to schedule your appointment now.
MATH WALK-IN TUTORING

Walk-in Tutoring is exclusively designed for students currently enrolled in math courses. Our math tutors are available on a first-come, first-served basis to support your success. Drop in during our walk-in hours for up to three sessions per week, each lasting up to an hour. Whether you prefer one-on-one help or working alongside others, we have got you covered.

DROP-IN ONLINE TUTORING
Discover the flexibility of Drop-In Online Tutoring, tailored for our students seeking tutoring in courses not covered by the Academic Learning Center or those requiring help beyond our regular hours. Access our convenient Drop-In Online Brainfuse 24/7 platform for additional support. Whether it's an unconventional subject or a late-night study session, we've got you covered. Experience tutoring on your terms with Drop-In Online Tutoring.
SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION
Supplemental Instruction (SI) helps students succeed in challenging courses by offering free, peer-led review sessions three times a week. These interactive sessions focus on key concepts, practice problems, group discussions, and study strategies. SI is optional and available for select courses—check with your professor to see if your course is included.

How do I know if my tutoring appointment is confirmed?

Students will receive a notification in their student email inbox and text message letting them know their appointment has been confirmed.

Students will receive a notification in their student email inbox and text message letting them know their appointment has been canceled.

Does the ALC tutor for the Math TSI test?

We currently do not offer tutoring for the Math portion of the TSI test, but we can provide you with resources to help you study for the exam

How late can I be to a tutoring session?

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointment. Click here to view our video on how to cancel your appointment.

Do you have online tutoring services?

We do provide virtual Appointment-Based tutoring and our Drop-In Online tutoring.

How many appointments can I make per week?

Students are allowed up to 3, 1-hour appointments per week

Can multiple students attend tutoring together as a group?

Yes, only one student can schedule the tutoring session for the group. It is advised that you mention in the scheduling notes section that you will be bringing a group.

How long is a tutoring session?

Our in-house Appointment-Based tutoring and Brainfuse online drop-in sessions are 30 minutes to 1 hour long.

What if the ALC does not offer the course I need assistance with?

Students can download the mobile Brainfuse app on the App Store or Google Play Store.
