The Academic Learning Center is here to support you with free tutoring services. Whether you prefer in-person appointments, need quick help
through walk-in math tutoring, or want to meet with an online tutor, we’ve got you covered!

Hours of Operation:

    Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM

    Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM

Math Walk-in Hours:

    Monday - Thursday, 9 AM - 5 PM

    Friday: 11 AM - 4 PM

Appointments Based Tutoring

Book an appointment with one of our A&M - SA tutors to guarantee a dedicated time slot. You can meet one-on-one or make an appointment for a small group. You can schedule up to three appointments per week with most appointments lasting 30–60 minutes. Book your appointment today!

Math Walk-In Tutoring

Need quick help in your math class? Drop in for up to three one-hour sessions per week, no appointment needed. Tutors are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Supplemental Instruction

SI offers free, peer-led review sessions three times a week for select courses. These interactive sessions focus on key concepts, practice problems, group discussions, and study strategies. Check with your professor or the link below to see if your courses are supported by SI.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the ALC tutor for the Math TSI test?

We can tutor for the math portion of the TSI test. We recommend bringing in practice problems or practice tests, but we do have sample questions for you to use.

How late can I be to a tutoring session?

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointment. Click here to view our video on how to cancel your appointment.

Can multiple students attend tutoring together as a group?

Yes, but we do not recommend groups larger than 3 people. Only one student needs to make the appointment, but please include in the scheduling notes that you will be bringing a group.
