Grad Cap Contest

It’s cappening! Get ready to show off your creativity in this year’s Top That Grad Cap Contest! Whether you’re honoring your journey, your passions, or your personality, now’s your chance to turn your graduation cap into a masterpiece. Submit your design, inspire your fellow Jaguars, and celebrate in style, because your cap deserves the spotlight!

Submission Deadline

All entries must be submitted by Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CST.

How to Enter

1. Decorate your graduation cap — get creative! Humor, heartfelt messages, school pride, and pop culture themes are all welcome.
2. Take a clear, well-lit photo of your cap.
3. Submit your entry form with:
   1. Full name
   2. Major
   3. Student email (@jaguar.tamu.edu)
   4. Photo upload
   5. Consent to photo usage

What We’re Looking For

A panel of A&M–San Antonio judges will choose the top 3 caps based on:

• Creativity & Originality
• Visual Appeal
• Jaguar Spirit

Prizes & Recognition

• Grand Prize: TAMUSA swag bag (valued at $250+) and a social media shout-out during commencement.
• Second Place: TAMUSA swag bag (valued at $100+).
• Third Place: TAMUSA swag bag (valued at $50+).
• Honorable Mentions: Featured on official TAMUSA social channels before and after commencement.

Rules & Guidelines

• One entry per graduating student.
• Caps must be decorated by the student entering (DIY or with help is fine).
• Designs must be appropriate and respectful—no profanity, political endorsements, or offensive content.
• By submitting, you give A&M–San Antonio permission to use your name, photo, and cap design in marketing and social media posts.
