Vaccination Info

Dear Jaguar Community,

As you prepare for the final weeks of the fall semester and the holiday season, we hope you will continue to take care of yourself and follow the protocols that slow the spread of the COVID-19 and flu viruses.

Here are some of the ways you can take care of yourself, whether you remain close to home or plan to travel over the holiday season.

  • Wash your hands frequently, and wear a face mask. Visit the CDC website for more information and additional resources.

  • Remember to use A&M-San Antonio’s COVID-19 online resources, including: 1) the Community.Safety.TOGETHER microsite where you will find the self-reporting portal and other helpful information and resources; and 2) the Jaguar App wellness self-monitoring tool.

  • Consider getting a vaccination. The University, in partnership with City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, will host two on-campus vaccination clinics.

What you need to know about the A&M-San Antonio and Metropolitan Health District vaccination clinics:

All doses and boosters for all three COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna*, and Johnson & Johnson) and the flu vaccine will be offered during these two clinics.

Times and dates of the two clinics are as follows:

  • 2–7 p.m. on Thursday, November 11 (Auditorium Lobby)

  • 2–7 p.m. on Thursday, December 2 (Patriots’ Casa, Ceremony Room)

To register, go here.

*Note: If you choose the Moderna vaccination, the second dose will take place 28 days after the first dose. You have two options to receive the second dose offered on Dec. 9, 2021:

  • Option 1: Attend another outreach clinic that Metropolitan Health District has scheduled on 12/9/2021. Go here for more information.

Option 2: Call (210) 207-8894 to schedule your appointment at the Immunization Clinic located at 210 N. Mel Waiters Way, San Antonio, TX 78207.
Thank you for continuing to do your part to keep our university community safe.
