Believe it or not getting involved in an on-campus organization can ensure your success in the classroom too! When students feel connected to
their campus community and feel a genuine sense of belonging they are more inclined to stay on campus and earn their degree. Getting
involved on campus provides students with more scholarship opportunities, professional development and the chance to network all while
having a great time! We encourage students to get involved by joining our Silver Liners Mentorship Program, joining a student organization
related to their major or interests, or simply by attending on campus events. Below you will find more information regarding Tau Sigma and

The Transfer Student Engagement Office is a resource to all Transfer Students. Whether it be social engagement, assistance with academic health, on and off campus resource connection, or simple words of encouragement, please lean on the TSE office to be there for you! Silver Liners
The Silver Liners peer mentorship program is designed specifically to help new transfer students be successful in their transition year to A&M San Antonio. Silver Liner mentors are trained, successful transfer students who volunteer to share their experiences with new transfer students to help them navigate and acclimate to campus life. Benefits of signing up include someone who can relate to your experiences, professional development, opportunities to get involved on campus, and exclusive swag! As a member of the Silver Liners you’ll be in an organization that is committed to your growth and persistence from orientation through graduation. By signing up to be a mentee, you are making a low risk - high reward investment into your future success as a Jaguar.
Tau Sigma
Tau Sigma National Honor Society – a national honor society designed exclusively for transfer students! Our mission is to recognize and promote the academic excellence and involvement of transfers students. Tau Sigma provides its members opportunities to earn scholarships, attend leadership conferences, take leadership positions in the university, serve others at the university and in the community, all while developing friendships and becoming a more integral part of A&M-San Antonio!
