The Transfer Center values having a team that is reflective of the transfer student journey so you can count on the fact that the professional staff members and our student staff all have transfer in their journey. Whether they transferred from an Alamo College, another state, multiple times or went to a community college and took a break before returning, we ALL transferred from one institution to another, so trust that we understand the journey!

Our staff can be found in the suite adjoining the transfer center, we keep our doors open and love to chat with students! Feel free to reach out to us via email if you’d like to schedule time for us to meet uninterrupted.

Student Staff

We’d also like to recognize and celebrate our transfer student staff in the office! We have a dynamic team of transfer students that help us execute the good work we do to support students on a daily basis, from helping provide guidance to being built-in friends and hosting fun events, we couldn’t do our job without them!

Their Role

This amazing team hosts orientations over the summer for first-year and transfer students, hosts transfer assemblies to welcome new transfer students, run our Silver Liners Mentorship Program, design and create monthly social events, and plan and execute transfer week. Truly they do it all, all for the love of transfer students!
