About the Military Science Program
Develop leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills through Military Science coursework at Texas A&M University–San Antonio. Students explore Army values, professional ethics, decision-making, and team development while preparing for the responsibilities of military leadership.
Course offerings progress from introductory leadership concepts to advanced preparation for Army officership. Selected upper-division courses require contracting with the UTSA Army ROTC program. Students should consult an ROTC advisor about prerequisites, participation requirements, and commissioning pathways.
